Job Location: Benicia, California
Job Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: $23-$24/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am-4:30pm
Description of Position:
Do you have experience as a Wiring Technician? We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented individual to join our team assembling and wiring control panels. This hands on role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with schematics, hand and power tools, and precision measurements in a dynamic production environment. Job Responsibilities:
- Review control panel layouts and wiring schematics
- Install electrical components according to engineering designs
- Label wires, components, and terminals accurately
- Strip, crimp, and prep wires for installation
- Route and bundle wiring per schematics and terminate into proper components
- Self-test completed work using electrical meters prior to final QA/testing
- Mount components and assemble control panels
- Perform light metal fabrication (drilling, cutting steel, operating power tools)
- Run metal enclosures through preprogrammed fabrication equipment
- Measure materials accurately using rulers and tape measures
- Receive, count, and shelve enclosure deliveries
- Regularly lift and move large items

You will be supporting a well-established electronics manufacturer in Benicia, California.
Experience Required:
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge and experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and follow wiring schematics
- Basic computer and math skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
