We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operations Leader for our client, a well-respected winery based in Napa, CA.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position serves as the primary liaison for all of our client's warehouse management operations. This includes the team management for wine inventory control, direct-to-consumer wine and wholesale wine fulfillment, processing of shipments in salesforce.com, and resolution of client/partner issues. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling multiple inventory warehouses and business and compliance systems. Strong organizational, record-keeping skills, and the capacity to understand and manage orders using a variety of technology-based systems is essential. The Warehouse Operations Leader will seek to constantly increase the company's efficiency in fulfillment management and consistently communicate these best practices to the company's internal team.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate and coordinate with internal team members on optimization of wine inventory by location, with the goal of minimizing out of stock scenarios or order delays.
Manage the processing and fulfillment of all direct-to-consumer and wholesale wine orders and record all sales and tracking information in the company's CRM system.
Oversee special labeling and repackaging projects as needed for direct-to-consumer and wholesale wine orders.
Manage the processing and fulfillment of all applicable art and design shipping opportunities and record all tracking information in the company's CRM system.
Collaborate with art and design operations team to provide support, as needed.
Perform and record monthly/annual inventories at multiple warehouse locations.
With the Sales Operations Director and accounting team, review and reconcile all ending inventory levels for specific periods.


PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

1-3 years warehouse (or comparable) leadership experience.
Forklift experience with certification, or ability to be certified.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (i.E., Word, Excel, Outlook) and web-based CRM applications.
Experience in ShipCompliant software and general compliance oversight.
Experience with FedEx, UPS, GSO, and third-party logistics.
Strong familiarity with computerized inventory and fulfillment programs.
