Warehouse Logistics Manager

Job Location: San Francisco, California

Job Type: Direct Hire

Pay Rate: $115,000-$140,000/year

Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm

Description of Position:
Do you have 5+ years of experience as a Warehouse Logistics Manager? We're seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee the day-to-day management of a high-volume warehouse supporting multiple e-commerce clients. This is an exciting opportunity to drive operational excellence, lead warehouse teams, improve processes, and help scale a growing fulfillment operation.

Our client processes approximately 500 time-sensitive orders per day and manages over 15,000 SKUs across 25 client accounts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic distribution environment and has extensive experience with inventory management, fulfillment, warehouse optimization, and team leadership.

Job Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations:
  • Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, quality control, kitting, packaging, returns, inventory control, and shipping
  • Schedule quality control inspections and end-of-job activities across multiple warehouse departments
  • Coordinate production schedules and communicate changes with the Account Management team
  • Ensure orders are processed accurately while meeting customer deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Optimize warehouse layout, workflow efficiency, and storage utilization
  • Maintain accurate inventory records across multiple client programs and thousands of SKUs
  • Manage relationships with UPS, FedEx, USPS, freight carriers, and courier services

Leadership & Team Development:
  • Hire, train, coach, and motivate warehouse associates
  • Establish performance expectations and accountability standards
  • Conduct semi-annual employee performance reviews
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Systems & Process Improvement
  • Utilize NetSuite Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other shipping and inventory platforms to manage daily operations
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehouse workflows and quality control
  • Manage real-time job costing schedules to ensure accurate project profitability
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including fulfillment accuracy, shipping performance, turnaround times, labor efficiency, and inventory accuracy
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements to support future growth
  • Partner with leadership on warehouse expansion, process optimization, and onboarding new client programs

Experience Required:
  • Minimum of 5 years of Warehouse Logistics Management experience
  • Proven experience managing high-volume warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory, quality control, kitting, returns, and fulfillment
  • Experience managing thousands of SKUs across multiple e-commerce or client accounts
  • Strong inventory management and logistics expertise
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and shipping software
  • NetSuite WMS experience strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting e-commerce fulfillment operations and multiple customer programs
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • 5S Certification preferred
