Woodshop Production Lead
Job Location: Benicia, California
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Pay Rate: $25-$26/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 6am-2:30pm
Description of Position:
Do you have experience as a Woodshop Production Lead and are looking for a temp to hire opportunity? Our client is seeking a hands-on, motivated professional to support production operations and help drive efficiency, quality, and safety. The Woodshop Production Lead will assist the Production Supervisor in allocating staff and equipment to meet daily and weekly production goals. This role involves operating machinery, mentoring production staff, and ensuring proper maintenance and quality control standards are met.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to read and interpret tape measure (to 1/16" accuracy) and CAD drawings
- Basic computer proficiency; advanced computer skills a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to locate and download program files from a network server
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to deal
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and in a dynamic environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Commitment to maintaining quality standards and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Must wear and use designated safety gear in required
