Vineyard Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Vineyard Mechanic to maintain and repair motor vehicles and mobile agricultural fleet equipment. This position requires expertise in servicing tractors, harvesters, pumps, and hydraulic systems, as well as troubleshooting electrical and fuel systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
- Strong understanding of motor vehicle and mobile agricultural fleet maintenance.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems, including European hydraulic systems.
- Experience with LP gas systems, electronic ignition, and fuel systems.
- Ability to safely operate tractors, backhoes, forklifts, hoists, and power tools.
- Proficiency in welding, fabrication, and advanced mechanical diagnostics (Level II & III).
- Knowledge of automotive and tractor electrical systems and ability to read wiring diagrams.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work in outdoor environments and various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to travel to multiple work sites as needed.

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certifications preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair, preferably in agricultural or heavy equipment.
- Maintain and repair motor vehicles and mobile agricultural fleet equipment.
- Troubleshoot and service tractors, harvesters, pumps, and various farm implements.
- Work with equipment including discs, hoe plows, sprayers, mowers, chainsaws, and gearboxes.
- Follow company safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout, Work at Heights, and Hot Work procedures.
