Shipping Coordinator
Job Location: Petaluma, California
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Pay Rate: $22-$25/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30pm
Description of Position:
Do you have experience as a Shipping Coordinator working in a warehouse setting? We have a fantastic opportunity for a candidate that is looking for a temp to hire position in Petaluma. This role will manage all tasks related to shipping and receiving goods and materials, including recordkeeping and distribution. Will be required to maintain inventory status levels, parts restocking, and assist with Bill of Materials updates. This will also handle consumable parts inventory and organize pack-outs of outgoing units.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, including inspection, tracking, and documentation.
- Maintain and update inventory levels, parts restocking, and assist with Bill of Materials revisions.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure accurate, on-time order fulfillment and shipments.
- Prepare, assemble, and package orders, ensuring compliance with quality control standards.
- Schedule and track domestic and international shipments, including Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight.
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, including MIL-STD requirements and export documentation.

Experience Required:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- 2+ years of domestic and international shipping experience, including handling dangerous goods.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer service mindset.
- Self-starter with attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
