San Francisco - Long Term Temporary - $55-$56/hour
Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (Work on site 3 days of the week. Choose 2 days where you will be remote)

Do you have experience as a Senior Accounting Analyst and looking for a long term assignment? We have the job for you! You will be supporting a city office in San Francisco for a 9-12 month assignment, this could extend longer if coverage is still needed. You could earn up to $56/hour depending on your experience and qualifications. Our client is seeking 1-2 candidates for this job positions.

Ideal candidate will have a minimum BA in Accounting and have related software experience in WorkForce Now, Workday, PeopleSoft, and SAP (preferred). You will be responsible for preparing general ledger journal entries on a regular basis associated with the month end close processes (with full cycle of GL experience, incl. payroll, accruals & prepaid and amortization).

Essential on the job responsibilities will include:
  • Process Capital expenditure transaction government policies & procedures and defined timelines.
  • Budget development and management
  • Special projects to clean up the Inter-company accounts for systems migration 
  • Duties include reviewing fixed assets coding assignments and reconciliation of all Fixed Assets Clearing accounts against mass additions table in sub-ledger
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of Fixed Assets and Intangibles between sub-ledgers and general ledgers.
  • Prepare quarterly review and annual audit support work papers and support efforts for KPMG external auditors, as well as other general accounting tasks.
  • Assist in monthly reconciling project costs with draw reports, invoice tracking, and coordinating with project managers for variances analysis
