Job Location: Petaluma, California
Pay Rate: $22-23/hour
Job Type: Temporary
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10:00 am - 5:30 pm
Description of Position:
Join our team as a Sanitation Associate at a well-established cheese manufacturing company in Petaluma, California. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing primary production (processing) and secondary production (packaging) equipment to ensure compliance with sanitation requirements. Your duties will include following standard cleaning procedures, assembling/disassembling equipment, applying cleaning chemicals, scrubbing, rinsing, and removing/disposing of materials daily. Additionally, you will collect and remove trash and recycling from production and packaging lines, warehouse, and surrounding areas.

Experience Required:
- Intermediate language skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations.
- Intermediate Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and change shifts if necessary.
- Must be able to read, speak, and write in English.
