We are conducting a Direct Hire Search for a Researcher / Negotiator to support nationwide projects involving location research, vendor coordination, and pricing analysis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys investigative work, data organization, vendor outreach, and negotiating fair pricing. You’ll play a key role in preparing accurate information ahead of RFPs to support competitive and well-informed bids.

• Research and identify client locations nationwide (U.S. and Canada)

• Gather detailed location information including: Square footage, zip codes, and mail vs. freestanding locations

• Research site-specific details when required, such as: Grease traps (size, internal vs. external, hoods, and parking lots (for blowing services)

• Identify and match Service Providers (SPs) to locations based on service-area zip codes

• Maintain a database of zip codes where SPs can provide services

• Contact contractors/service providers to: Request pricing, clarify service capabilities, and negotiate rates when budgets allow

• Bundle multiple locations when appropriate to negotiate better pricing

• Maintain detailed spreadsheets: Per client or potential client and master database of locations, zip codes, SPs, and pricing

• Develop a strong working knowledge of service pricing trends by region

• Strong research and investigative skills

• Comfortable reaching out to vendors and contractors

• Negotiation experience or confidence negotiating pricing

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

• Proficient with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)

• Ability to manage large volumes of data accurately

• Self-motivated and able to work independently
