Job Location: Sacramento to American Canyon, California
Pay Rate: $100,000-$150,000/Year
Job Type: Direct Hire - full time - on site
About the Role:
Bolt Staffing is growing, and we're looking for a Business Development Manager who thrives on finding and winning new business.
This is not a traditional account manager role. While relationship building and long term client satisfaction are essential, your primary focus will be driving new client acquisition and expanding our footprint in the Sacramento to American Canyon market. You'll be at the front line of our growth strategy; identifying, pursuing, and closing business opportunities that align with our staffing and HR solutions.

What We're Looking For:
Experience:
5-10 years in combined experience in:
- Business development, B2B sales, or client facing roles
- Staffing, recruiting, HR services, or professional services preferred
- Strong prospecting and closing skills
- Strategic, organized, and self-managed
- Familiarity with the Sacramento to American Canyon market and a solid local business network
- A track record of sticking with roles and producing results over time
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing Communications, or a related field
Skill Set:
- Strong consultative selling and relationship management skills
- Working knowledge of Human Resources practices, compliance, and workforce planning
- Proficiency in CRM systems and a structured approach to managing pipelines
- Strategic thinker who is proactive and highly adaptable
What You'll Do:
- Identify and target new business opportunities across key industries in your local market
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospects through outreach, networking, and referrals
- Meet with decision makers to understand their staffing needs and present tailored solutions
- Close new client accounts and hand off to internal teams for seamless service delivery
- Represent Bolt Staffing at local business and industry events
- Work collaboratively with leadership and recruiting teams to support strategic growth goals
