Our client in Petaluma is looking for an experienced Property Management Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, driven and professional. We are looking for someone who is able to provide exceptional customer service to clients, tenants, prospects, vendors, and co-workers. The responsibilities will span the full range of property management. This can include assisting with budget preparation, managing maintenance of buildings and grounds, and assisting with administrative functions.

This role will also support the Property Manager to achieve the financial success of assigned commercial properties by assisting in controlling costs and budgets.

-Tenant and Vendor relations: implementation and adherence to leases as well as regular maintenance contracts
-Provide tenant relations support including initial response to tenant inquiries, service requests, and other assignments as directed by Property Manager
-Build and maintain strong relationship with vendors; assist with preparation and maintenance of standard service contracts
-Assist Property Manager with execution of emergency and evacuation procedures notifying appropriate personnel

-Knowledge of Real Estate practices
-Computer literate (i.E. Word, Excel, Outlook, Yardi Software)
-Ability to assimilate new information
-Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
-Ability to interact with all levels of staff within the company
-Promote teamwork among employees in order to accomplish goals and to meet customer needs
-Strong project management skills
-Superior communication and organizational skills with the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
-An Associate's Degree in Business or a similar discipline and a minimum of 2+ years real estate management experience
-Previous experience in Commercial Property Management preferred
