Our client in Solano County is looking for a Level II Project Manager to join their team. This position will be responsible for processing, tracking, and coordinating manufacturing projects. This will start from the point of order delivery and move through purchasing, production, and until delivery to the job site. There will be a lot of data entry, monitoring, and phone/email interaction. This person needs to be even, steady, and consistent.

JOB DUTIES:
-Oversee projects from start to finish
-Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and ensure timely follow through on all tasks and processes
-Responsible for producing a detailed project schedule and setting a realistic expectation with the customer on the front end
-Guide the drafters throughout the drafting process, making decisions to ensure the customer's needs are met
-Manage project budget, analyzing changes in scope of work as compared to how the project was quoted
-Ensure project comes in within budget
-Assemble and provide detailed submittal packages
-Review, clarity, process, and manage shop drawing and cutlist orders
-Obtain color selection and cutlist or order parameters from customer in time to meet the production schedule
-Submit coil order request to Purchasing
-Coordinate special buyout items with Purchasing
-Communicate with customers on a regular basis so projects flow through the system and into production
-Provide customer support on material issues and shortage claims
-Process panel and finish warranties upon request

QUALIFICATONS:
-High School diploma or equivalent
-Ability to read and understand metal building/structural/architectural drawings
-Ability to read Plan Specs and confirm that requirements are met
-Understanding of basic construction terminology
-Produce a Bill of Materials from a set of drawings
-Strong customer service skills, including conflict resolution and consistent follow through
-Ability to effectively establish and maintain positive relationships with customers
-Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
-Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
-Ability to read draft plans
-Strong organization and customer service
-Have precise accuracy with data entry
