Job Location: Sonoma, California

Job Type: Temp to Hire

Pay Rate: $18-$21/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 2pm - 12:30am

Description of Position:
Do you have experience as a Printing/Finishing and Packing Associate in a warehouse setting? We're hiring for a full time, temp to hire opportunity with a well-established company in Sonoma. This is a great role for someone who is reliable, detail oriented, and interested in long term stability. This candidate will be responsible for operating rewind and finishing equipment to inspect and slit and finish labels to customers specifications. As well as assist the Senior Press Operators or Press Operators to produce quality labels and product according to order specification.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Operate rewind and finishing equipment to inspect, slit, and finish labels to meet customer specifications.
  • Read order specs and prepare product for packing and shipment.
  • Inspect and remove defects; perform accurate re-splicing and tagging.
  • Pack product pre order requirements and assist press operators with setup and cleanup.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and follow all safety protocols.
  • Keep the workspace clean and organized.

Experience Required:
  • Work Experience requirements: * Company provides on the job training and training courses.
  • Flexographic experience helpful.
  • Skills: * Reading and math at high school level.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Obtaining and seeing to the appropriate use of equipment, facilities, and materials needed to complete the printing job.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Experience in a printing, finishing, or warehouse environment.
  • Ability to operate rewind/finishing equipment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow job specifications.
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
