Job Location: Napa, California

Job Type: Temp to Hire

Pay Rate: $25 - $28/hr

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4 pm-2:30 am (4x10)

Description of Position:
Do you have experience working with machinery and a willingness to learn quickly? We're looking for a motivated candidate to join our client's team as a Print Operator I. This position offers hands on training with our specialized print machinery, focusing on set up, maintenance, and production support.

This position is responsible for participating in a training program that will teach incumbents in this role to find and/or make Tooling’s for print machinery. Objective of this position is to allow Operators to set machines with the tooling and screens necessary to complete a successful setup of a Print job.  
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Participate in training for setting up Line 3 print machinery
  • Learn how to correctly install tooling, screens, and squeegees on machines
  • Inspect bottles/ware for defects for specification issues during runs
  • Repair screens using tape or emulsion to fix pinholes
  • Clean thermoplastic ink off bottles using solvents and equipment, while following all safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate documentation of weekly training progress.
  • Operate VLM to manage paint supply for jobs
  • Serve as a backup Print Technician when needed
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
  • Support company wide safety and recycling initiatives
 
Description of Company:
You will be supporting a well-established company that specializes in bottling screen printing and bottle etching in Napa, California.

Experience Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Ability to read/write in English
  • Understanding of quality, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Basic hand tool knowledge
  • Familiarity with metric and imperial measurements
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Organized and efficient with good time management skills

Working Conditions:
  • Exposure to paints, solvents, and other materials
  • Proximity to machinery with moving parts, heat, and other potential hazards
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as grasping, stooping, squatting, and reaching overhead
