Description of Position: As a Parts Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the Parts / Receiving area within our company's culture of excellence. This position requires a keen understanding of established guidelines and procedures to optimize human resources, materials, and machinery. Collaborating closely with the Purchasing function, you will ensure the right inventory levels are maintained to meet the needs of our assembly department and external customers for fittings and accessory items. Continuous improvement in quality, repair, cost reduction, and safety will be at the forefront of your responsibilities.

Experience Required: 

To excel in this role, you should be capable of performing each essential duty with precision. The requirements listed below outline the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary. Your role will encompass a deep understanding of the sales order process and the ability to interpret and confirm order requirements. You'll handle loading and unloading shipments for various carriers, process receiving paperwork, and requisition/order parts. The ability to read, comprehend, and execute instructions from tank and parts drawings is crucial. You'll also need to become familiar with tank sizes, fitting designs, and their applications. Basic math, reading, comprehension, and computer skills are required. Comfort working at elevated heights and proficiency in Spanish (as a second language) is beneficial for our California Plant.
