We are looking for a part time building attendant to work at a recreation center for a city in Sonoma County. This job will be about 18-29 hours a week depending on the events scheduled. There will be a need for flexibility as some events will be in the nights and some weekends. This position will be responsible for organizing and coordinating a variety of activities and special events for the department.

JOB DUTIES:
-Implement and set up a variety of community center activities and special events
-Unlock the appropriate rooms in the center
-Set up furniture and equipment for activities and special events
-Process class registrations and room rentals
-Assist groups with logistics and maintain an orderly environment throughout the community center
0Report maintenance problems, mistakes, or concerns to supervisor
-Maintain supplies, files, and forms in the front desk area
-Perform light maintenance duties such as sweeping, dusting, washing of tables, and changing lights
-Perform filing and light typing

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
-Light handyman work or construction background would be a plus
-Flexibility in schedule
-Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
