Park Maintenance Worker

Petaluma - Long Term Temporary - $24-$25/hour

Monday - Thursday or Tuesday-Friday 6am - 4:30pm

Do you enjoy working outdoors and have landscaping experience? Spring into a new job assignment! This is a great opportunity to become involved in the community and build your experience working for a government agency. Our client in Sonoma County is looking for a maintenance worker to perform landscaping duties in parks throughout the area. We are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors and with their hands.

On the job responsibilities will include:

Perform general grounds maintenance of raking, sweeping, garbage pick up, and rest room cleaning
Mow, edge, trim, and fertilize
Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems
Identify and report safety hazards
Assist with maintenance of city pools
Use of equipment to include walk behind mowers, edger's, weed eaters, and blowers

Are able to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time. Will occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
Looking for someone with basic to intermediate level of experience with landscaping
Possession of a valid California Class C driver's license
