Pay Rate: $33-$33.75/hour
Job Type: Long Term Temporary
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Description of Position:
Are you an experienced paralegal seeking a temporary assignment? Our office is currently hiring a temporary paralegal to assist with reviewing and responding to a high volume of criminal, civil, and administrative subpoenas. The role entails understanding codes and statutes, redacting records, and determining eligibility for record recipients. Additionally, there will be a significant volume of phone calls related to records requests. Under general supervision, you will support attorneys in legal document preparation, research, analysis, and hearing/trial preparation. This assignment is expected to last up to 18 weeks.

Experience Required:
- One year of full-time experience in legal analysis, researching, and drafting legal documents.
- Experience with propounding discovery and trial preparation for civil litigation.
- Currently working or has worked as a Paralegal in the last twelve months.
- Possession of a certificate of completion from a paralegal program approved by the American Bar Association, or equivalent educational qualification.
