Job Summary:
Respond to all engineering service calls, giving priority to Guest requests. Maintain hotel areas and equipment in an efficient, safe, accident-free manner.

Essential Duties or Functions:
-Respond to and handle Guest requests in a courteous, efficient, safe manner.
-Complete painting and small projects as assigned.
-Perform guest room preventive maintenance duties.
-Assist Engineers in all engineering functions when full engineering staff is not available. (weekends and evenings).
-Make rounds as assigned of the properties to ensure everything is in working order.
-Clean and maintain all engineering equipment and tools.
-Clean and maintain all engineering work and storage areas.
-Inspect property lighting daily and replace light bulbs when needed.
-Complete maintenance requests as assigned.
-Ability to operate department pick-up truck.
-Complete daily shift reports as required.
-Assist engineering department as requested by Director of Engineering or Engineering Supervisor.
-Be trained on propane filling procedures.

Qualifications:
- Must be able to work outside for up to 8 hours or more at a time.
-Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds for short periods of time.
-Ability to perform repetitive motions, including, but not limited to: walking, bending, squatting, standing, climbing, stooping, reaching, grasping and raking.
-Capable of safely operating power equipment. Including but not limited to drills, circular saw, and any handheld power tool required for the task.
-Working knowledge of the use and storage of paints and chemicals.
