Location: Petaluma, CA (near Point Reyes Seashore)
Pay Rate: $27 - $30/hr
Job Type: Temporary
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (occasional Saturdays)
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at a renowned cheese company. You will work closely with the Production, Packaging, and Supply Chain departments to ensure seamless operations. This role involves performing mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and conducting preventive maintenance to keep all systems running smoothly.
- Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical (24-120 volts), and air-operated system issues.
- Set up, adjust, and repair equipment as needed.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain operational efficiency.
- Respond to emergency repairs and breakdowns.
- Work overtime and be on-call as needed.

- Minimum 5 years in manufacturing maintenance with a strong mechanical background.
- Electrical troubleshooting (24-120 volts).
- Knowledge of motors, pumps, and variable drives.
- Understanding of utilities (water systems, boilers, air compressors).
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout procedures, HACCP, GMPs, and plant safety programs.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Bilingual (Spanish).
- Welding experience.
- Experience operating powered engines and scissor lifts.
