Job Description
- Maintains, cleans and repairs the Teflon belts for the tortilla presses
- Must be proficient in the running of tortilla presses
- Troubleshooting Teflon belt issues
- Aids in minor equipment repairs and adjustments
- Works overtime as needed
- Performs minor and routine repairs as directed by supervisor
- Responds in a timely fashion to problems related to facility maintenance and repair
- Possesses and maintains a high level of competency and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations
- High school diploma or equivalent and one to two years related experience or equivalent of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Employee must be alert and awake at all times
- Work at heights and in inclement weather
- Collect, interpret, and/or analyze complex data and information
