Job Location: Sonoma, California
Pay Rate: $24-$25/hour
Job Type: Long Term Temporary
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9pm-5:30am
Description of Position:
Are you experienced in mechanical work and seeking a well-compensated job opportunity? A prestigious wine warehouse in Sonoma is currently seeking a Mechanical Assistant to provide maintenance support. The ideal candidate should possess basic metric and standard hand tool experience. This position is initially temporary for about a month but may extend based on performance and workload demands. Responsibilities include:

This position is initially temporary for about a month but may extend based on performance and workload demands. Responsibilities include:
- General winery maintenance across production areas.
- Assisting in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, including water distribution systems.
- Ensuring work is conducted safely, adhering to established safety protocols.
- Performing ongoing preventative maintenance on equipment such as the Bottling line, Refrigeration Systems, and fire pump.
- Scheduling equipment maintenance with vendors as needed.
- Providing support to the Cellar and Bottling Supervisor during bottling processes.

Experience Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- General machine shop skills.
- Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be available to work scheduled days and have flexibility for different schedules or hours as needed.
- Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
