Machine Operator - Laser Operator
Tracy - Permanent - $27-$34/hour
Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm
**Manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred)
Are you looking to find a new job opportunity as a machine operator? Look no further! Our client is seeking a candidate that has at least 2 years of manufacturing experience or as a laser operator. This role is primarily responsible for the daily setup and operations of Amada or Mitsubishi NC/NCL laser, in our Tracy, CA facility a just-in-time fabrication shop. This position may be required to assist other operators as a helper on key work or machines as required.
Ideal candidate will earn up to $1360/week depending on your experience and qualifications. This could be a direct hire for the right candidate. With internal hire, great benefits will be available.

On the job responsibilities will include:
- Perform setups and operations on Amada and Mitsubishi NC/NCL Lasers.
- Check material thickness for accuracy and load material.
- De-nest and remove laser oxide from parts/Plasma.
- May train others on set-up and operation of Laser/Plasma.
- Identify and solve machine alignment and cut condition problems.
- Account for time and work completed via online computer data collection system.
- Safely operate a forklift to handle materials, unload deliveries, receive material and complete work.
- Report and document basic material, production, and quality control issues.
- Maintain performance logbooks on assigned area equipment, report deficiencies to the maintenance team.

- A High School diploma or GED Equivalent.
- 2 years laser experience or previous experience working within a highly technical environment.
- Amada certified a plus-but not required.
- Must have strong Laser or CNC operating background.
- Ability to understand/apply knowledge of “G” and “M” codes and have applicable computer skills.
- Demonstrated blueprint reading capability.
