Logistics Coordinator duties
Arrange shipping of inventory from one location to another (vendor to one of our yards, one of our yards to customers)
Maintains quality throughout the logistic processes
Coordinate shipping schedule with vendors and customers
Continually reviews freight costs and rates to keep costs down where possible
Continually reviews freight companies to insure timely delivery
Prepare bill of lading
Sales Assistant Duties
Assist sales representatives with preparation of Quotes/Sales Order in NetSuite
Enter item receipts into NetSuite
List advertisements in Craigslist, etc.
Prepare item release.
Answer phones calls
Make travel arrangements for President, Sales Manager, Sales Representatives, etc.
Prepare Purchase Order in NetSuite
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in logistics is a must.
NetSuite experience is a plus.
Bachelor's degree preferred
Strong time management skills, Communication skills, Problem-solving skills, Decision making ability, Organizational skills, Ability to priorities, Understanding of quality management principles, Attention to detail
