Light Maintenance Technician 


Job Location: Vallejo, California 


Pay Rate: $23 - $23.10/hour 


Job Type: Long-term Temporary 


Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm


Description of Position: 

Are you skilled in maintenance and construction work, with a focus on water distribution and related facilities? We are seeking a Light Maintenance Technician to join our team in Vallejo, California. In this role, you will perform a range of maintenance tasks related to water distribution, including cleaning meter boxes, raising meter boxes to grade, replacing damaged meter box lids, and installing new meter boxes when necessary. You will also be responsible for keeping records of daily tasks, reporting water service issues, and performing light maintenance duties.

Experience Required:

  • Record-keeping skills to document daily tasks and report on water service issues.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to drive city vehicles.
  • Experience using construction equipment, including vacuum/trailers and hand tools.
  • Familiarity with F-150 and F-250 trucks.
