Laborer - Precast Concrete

Monday - Friday | 6:30am-2:30pm

Do you have a skilled trade as a concrete finisher? We have a new temp to hire job position supporting our client that is a well-established company in manufacturing precast concrete products. This is a great job for you if you have:

•Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment
•Ability to work safely and properly follow all company policies
•Physical requirements: lift up to 50 pounds
•Ability to work overtime as needed

On the job responsibilities will include:
•Assist in pouring concrete during production
•Clean and set-up concrete forms for various concrete products
•Application of solution and sealing compounds during concrete products production (Patching)
•Repair defects in concrete surfaces, using mortar or grout and trowel, and smooth rough spots, using chisel and other tools (Patching)
•Load, unload, and move cement, sand, and gravel to work areas, using hoe, shovel, wheelbarrow, hand truck, or other equipment as directed
•Operate and/or assist workers engaged in, front-end loaders, forklifts, or other hoisting machines used to lift and move machinery, equipment, or materials, such as concrete castings, structural steel, concrete slabs, mill rolls, scrap metal, pipe, dirt, and others as assigned
•Maintain and clean yard and plant, using shovel, broom, and other materials as assigned
•Perform other tasks associated with production of concrete products as assigned
