Inventory Control Clerk
Stockton - Permanent - $18-$20/hour
Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (some Saturday work)

• Proficient English, grammar, spelling, punctuation and math skills. Bilingual Spanish helpful.

Our client in Stockton is looking for a candidate that has worked in an auto store or as a car mechanic that would be familiar with truck/car parts for the inventory control clerk position. Must have a very strong understanding of truck/car parts and what the functions of the parts are used for. Willing to train someone who is tech savvy on the inventory systems but in need of someone with parts understanding to be successful in this newly created role.
On the job responsibilities will include:
• Input vehicle maintenance information and PO’s into Vehicle Tracker.
• Assist in setting up, inputting and reconciliation of physical inventories. Execute cycle counts and physical inventories and reconciliations as required.
• Maintain accurate and current physical inventory database through Vehicle Tracker.
• Process Repair Orders into Vehicle Tracker.
• Assist in setting up and managing a cycle count inventory system at all storerooms.
• Assist in the design of monthly management reports utilizing Vehicle Tracker, Excel and Access.

• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to occasionally bend, squat and climb, including ability to ascend and descend stairs.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience in inventory control and inventory audit processes.
• Strong familiarity and/or experience with automotive parts.
• 10-Key by touch.
• Proficient computer technology skills, including ability to utilize company authorized software.
