Pay Rate: $22-$23/hour
Schedule: Monday - Sunday; 5am - 1:30pm (hours and days may vary)
Description of Position:
A county hospital in San Joaquin is seeking Food Service Workers to support hospital operations for the next few months. This role is critical to daily operations and will be busy throughout each shift, so flexibility and reliability are essential. Job Responsibilities:
Check incoming deliveries for accuracy, quality, and damage
Store supplies according to temperature, humidity, and light requirements
Organize and allocate storage space; develop effective storage methods
Issue supplies, fill orders and requisitions, and ensure items are used before expiration
Deliver supplies to designated areas within the hospital
Maintain inventory records, including stock levels and usage dates
Post records of items received and issued; prepare reports and correspondence
Prepare purchase orders and ensure adequate stock for daily operations
Research product information using catalogs and manuals
Investigate and resolve complaints regarding quantity or quality of goods received
Description of Company:

Ideal Candidate:
Minimum of 3 years of experience receiving, storing, and issuing supplies
Experience maintaining inventory and stock records
Ability to work in a dynamic, high-volume environment
Flexible schedule availability required
Dress Code:
- Black pants (no jeans)
- Polo shirt (blue, black or white)
- Non-slip shoes required
