Forklift Operator
Job Location: Stockton, California
Job Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: $17-$17.50/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 6am-3:30pm (Some overtime weekdays and/or weekends)
Description of Position:
Do you have experience as a forklift operator? We are seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of forklifts to move pallets and materials across the site. This position plays a vital role in maintaining efficient production flow and workplace safety.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and man-lifts to move product and materials as directed
- Work around heavy machinery and in production or manufacturing environment
- Load and unload materials from trucks and railcars in compliance with DOT criteria
- Perform tasks at elevated heights and work on platforms as needed
- Maintain accurate production data and complete all required documentation
- Follow safety guidelines, including the use of PPE and proper equipment handling
- Perform repetitive physical tasks such as lifting up to 54 lbs., standing, bending, and walking
- Adapt to varying weather conditions and loud working environment
- Work flexible schedules, including night and watch shifts

Experience Required:
- High school diploma and equivalent preferred
- Must be certified or qualified to operate forklifts and man-lifts
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is highly preferred
- Basic math skills and ability to follow detailed instructions
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Strong team oriented attitude
