Job Description
Flatbed Truck Driver
Job Location: American Canyon, California
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Pay Rate: $24-$25/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30pm
Description of Position:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience driving a box truck or operating a Peterbilt 16' flatbed truck and a proven track record of safe driving. This role involves transporting goods and various locations within a 50-mile radius.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate a Peterbilt 16' flatbed truck to transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload goods using a forklift (certification can be completed onsite).
- Ensure the safe and secure transportation of goods.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with team members.
Description of Company:
You will be supporting a well established plumbing supply company in American Canyon, California.
Experience Required:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must have experience driving a box truck or a Peterbilt 16' flatbed truck.
- Prior forklift experience (onsite certification available).
- Comfortable driving a flatbed truck.
- Ability to pass a background check and DMV screening.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
