Event Staff
Job Description
This is a temporary seasonal position running from the second week of December through January 7.
A group orientation and training session will be held in mid-November.
- Greet and check in guest courteously and efficiently
- Assist visitors with skate selection and fittings for comfort and safety
- Provide clear directions and answer guest questions
- Accurately handle cash and point-of-sale systems
- Monitor rink and surrounding areas to ensure a safe, enjoyable environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of skates, lines, and equipment
- Assist with set-up, line management, and guest flow
- Work collaboratively with staff and supervisors
- Maintain a friendly, upbeat attitude, helping create a welcoming winter experience for all.
Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or event staffing preferred
Basic cash handling skills required; POS experience a plus
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical work (lifting skates, bending, etc.)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in busy, high-energy environments with large crowds
Must be available for flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Comfortable standing and moving for long periods
