Customer Service Representative

• Maintains direct and timely communication with customers, Sales Teams, Business Operations Manager, Compliance and Accounting Departments, and all relevant departments to ensure the highest levels of customer service.
• Efficiently and accurately processes all customer orders with accuracy in reference to products, quantities, weights, pallets, shipping locations, and other special handling conditions.
• Obtains freight quotes in MyCarrier and schedules pickups at appropriate locations and with customers if required.
• Resolves issues relating to the current status of all open orders and orders needing to be expedited and/or tracked while in transit.
• Keeps track of backorders, especially during harvest, making sure they ship the moment back-ordered items are received in the warehouse.
• Researches customer discrepancies and/or complaints; takes action to facilitate problem resolution working with the appropriate internal department(s).
• Makes changes/updates to orders, including ship dates, routing, order tie-ins, or any special instructions and timely communicates to the appropriate parties.
• Develops customer information files to include information regarding regulatory requirements, carriers, product specifications, customer requirements, and any special instructions.
• Prioritizes needs from internal and external parties and facilitates special requests to ensure all requirements are met.
• Provides quotes via Proforma Invoices upon request to customers and/or Sales Reps.
• Creates Purchase Orders for Decorated Stemware Orders (Luxury Department) and arranges transportation.

• Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Good communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
• Ability to work flexibly and with little instruction
• Must have strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with all groups across the organization and out in the field
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate required.
• Experience in the commodity/chemical/food environment preferred
