Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm

Requirements:
  • Education/Experience: BA/BS preferred or 2 - 3 years of work experience in Customer Service primarily or Sales/Administrative support.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of Salesforce.com and Navision a plus.
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet formulas and strong basic math aptitude.

Our client is a leader in fruit purees and is looking for the ideal candidate to perform a broad range of customer service duties and sales operation support.

Ideal candidate will have education/experience: BA/BS preferred in addition to 2 to 3 years of work experience in Customer Service primarily or Sales/Administrative support. Along with experience in the foodservice industry is preferred. Also, previous experience working with CRM software (Salesforce.com or another comparable system).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Customer Service: (90%)
  • Processes all sales orders
  • Liaison with foodservice distribution center and freight carrier(s).
  • Answers the telephone main line, offering assistance, information or redirection to co-workers.
  • Monitors and responds to all email inquiries
  • Reviews and updates customer contact information, including phone, fax, address and buyers’ names in Navision.
  • Assists with departmental communication to customers, sending information via email, fax, bulk mailings, and written correspondence.\

Sales Operation: (10%)
  • Provides back up for Sales Operations recall process and participates in monthly and annual recall in conjunction with Sales Management and Quality.
  • Provides back up for Direct Sample Coordinator as needed.
  • Provides general administrative support to Sales Department, including data entry, reporting, and invoice research.
  • Individually, and in conjunction with managers and staff, assures all safety criteria are met or exceeded through regular observation and participation in safety meetings.
