Job Location: Petaluma, California

Job Type: Temp to Hire

Pay Rate: $22-$24/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am-5pm

Description of Position:
Do you have strong customer service experience and a knack for accuracy and organization? Our client is seeking a reliable and dependable Customer Service Representative to join their growing team. This role supports daily customer service operations, including data entry, order setup, and assistance with standard warranty or repair cases. Over time, the position will expand to include moderately complex customer interactions, international order coordination, and process improvement support.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquires via phone and email with professionalism and urgency
  • Accurately manage customer cases, sales orders, and RMAs in NetSuite
  • Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Shipping, and Repair teams to ensure timely and accurate order processing
  • Provide customers with shipping details and tracking information once received
  • Support implementation, testing, and rollout of the Customer Service Portal
  • Maintain accurate customer account data, including point of contact, asset locations, and order details
  • Identify and support process improvements to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Perform order setup for domestic and commercial customers
  • Enter and verify data for ECAT and DLA orders under supervision
  • Assist with RMA creation, routine updates, and escalation of complex inquires as needed

Experience Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service or order entry experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service mindset
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accuracy under supervision
  • Skilled in managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with ERP or CRM systems (NetSuite or Salesforce preferred)
  • Reliable, punctual, and a collaborative team player
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn
