Cellar Technician

Job Location: Sonoma, California 

Pay Rate: $22 - $22.50/hour 

Job Type: Permanent 

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10am - 6:30pm

Description of Position: 

Are you a wine enthusiast with prior cellar experience? A wine warehouse facility in Sonoma is seeking a Cellar Technician to join their team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for individuals with the right qualifications. As a Cellar Technician, you will play a crucial role in a collaborative team responsible for delivering bottle-ready wine to the Sonoma bottling lines safely and on time, ensuring the conversion to finished case goods. Your responsibilities will include following safe cellar practices, performing production line and cellar sanitization, receiving bulk wine trucks, and assisting with various cellar activities.

Experience Required:

• Reliable team player with excellent attendance.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills within the Cellar team and across different departments.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays.

Description of Company: Our company is a well-established premium wine company located in Sonoma, California. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional wine products to our customers. Proficiency in English and the ability to read/write Spanish are pluses. A valid CA driver's license and the age of 21 are required. Computer experience, HACCP or ISO training, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are all valued.

Experience, Competencies & Skills:

• Preferred at least 5 years of previous winery experience.
• Knowledge of winery equipment and winery standard operating procedures (SOP).
