Bottling Line Rework Associate
Job Location: Ripon, California
Job Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: $23-$23.80/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day or Swing shift:
7am to 3:30pm
3pm to 11:30pm
Description of Position:
Do you have experience working in a winery warehouse, particularly on a bottling line or rework project? We're looking for reliable and detail oriented candidates to join a dynamic team supporting rework operations at one of our client's production lines. This is a hands on role that directly impacts product quality and food safety standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Move wine boxes from cases onto conveyor belts for rework operations.
- Perform special projects including labeling, reclaim, recoup, and repack tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas (housekeeping & groundskeeping duties).
- Operate warehouse machinery and follow safety standards at all times.
- Differentiate and quarantine non-conforming products as needed.
- Assist with material handling tasks such as dunnage, air bagging, and slip sheeting.
- Utilize scan guns, computers, and other technology to track inventory and workflows.
- Complete required documentation for quality assurance and operational audits.
- Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement efforts.
- Fill in or assist Warehouse Utility Techs when required.
Description of Company:
You will be supporting a well-established winery in Ripon, California.
Experience Required:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Previous experience in general labor or warehouse work is required (winery experience preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, bend, stoop, and twist throughout the shift
- Experience with powered pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus
- Must be able to work independently, maintain a strong attention to detail, and follow instructions.
- Must read, understand, and communicate effectively in English
- Willingness to work varied shifts, overtime, and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be able to pass applicable tests and screenings
