Job Type: Long Term Temporary

 

Pay Rate: $24 - $25/hour 

 

Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

 

Description of Position:

Join our team as an Administrative Assistant at our architecture and interior design firm in beautiful Benicia, California. We are looking for a part-time, temporary Administrative Assistant with a passion for designing unique solutions and a positive attitude. This temporary position will start on November 28th and continue until late April, 2024. The schedule for this part-time role is somewhat negotiable, with 16-24 hours per week split between Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. This will be a permanent position for the right candidate.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track employee sick/vacation accrual, collect and review time records, and prepare and process semi-monthly payroll and reimbursable expenses.
  • Manage general finance tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, bank account and credit card reconciliation, profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash-flow management.
  • Produce relevant reports, graphs, and spreadsheets, and maintain general ledgers by entering and posting journal entries.
  • Maintain electronic filing conventions.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in a similar administrative role.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Accounting and bookkeeping experience, including accounts payable/receivable, with proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, editing, grammatical, and research skills, and the ability to communicate professionally with a CPA, clients, and teammates.
