Weighmaster - Graveyard Shift
Job Location: Ripon, California
Job Type: Temporary
Pay Rate: $18-$19/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday; 10pm to 6:30am
Description of Position:
Do you have experience working graveyard and as a Weighmaster, which involves weighing vehicles, managing logistics documentation, and data entry? We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented Graveyard Scale House Clerk to join our team. This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately weighing inbound and outbound containers, tankers, and grape trucks, while maintaining precise records and supporting winery operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Weigh inbound and outbound trucks using a computerized scale system
- Accurately calculate weights and gallons on weight tags
- Enter and manage data in JDE and other systems
- Maintain detailed logs of all inbound and outbound shipments
- Process weight tickets and vineyard field tags during harvest
- Complete required paperwork for all shipments
- Communicate effectively with employees and escalate concerns when needed
- Provide direction to the Cellar Team for tanker load placement
- Coordinate with wine tracking and production teams to process trucks and tankers according to work orders
- Certify weights, measurements, and counts of winery commodities
- Issue certificates verifying product quantities
- Ensure compliance and accuracy of all load measurements using certified equipment
Description of Company:
You will be supporting a well-established winery in Ripon, California.
Experience Required:
- Must be 18 years or older at time of hire
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong analytical and math skills
- Computer proficiency (experience with JDE a plus)
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs consistently
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Capable of bending, stooping, standing, and twisting
- Willingness to work in a warehouse environment with equipment noise
- Ability to perform both warehouse and office related tasks
