Our client in Solano County is looking for an AR Manager to join their construction team. We are looking for someone that will understand construction from development to build-out and be able to accurately and efficiently record and monitor project expenses from each job.

We are looking for a hard-working, passionate, and team-oriented Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee our accounting department. They will be responsible for ensuring that invoicing and collections are current, and to account for status of unbilled, billed, paid and unpaid accounts. This position reports directly to our Controller.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Oversee invoicing for customers ensuring completion in a timely manner
-Oversee high volume billing 100-200 per week
-Make collection calls as needed
-Prepare weekly reports of status of unbilled, billed, paid and unpaid accounts using Excel spreadsheet
-Keep accurate and complete records
-Request purchase orders and sales orders from customers
-Assist in completing contract documentation
-Keep good channels of communication open with Customers and their representatives
-Other duties as needed or assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
-Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
-Minimum 5 years' experience in Accounts Receivable or billing role required;
-Must have experience and ability to handle high volume billing at 100-200 per week.
-Experience working in an accounting department within a construction company environment preferred.
-Ability to understand contracts, extra work orders, back charges required.
-Familiar with conditionals and unconditionals / lien process preferred.
-Must be computer literate with MS Office and internet. Excel proficiency at a minimum basic level required.
-ERP system and/or construction software a plus.
-Must be detail oriented and possess ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
-Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English
-Must be able to interface with all levels of Blue Mountain employees.
-Must possess mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties.
-Must take initiative to better the department and company.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Work is performed primarily indoors. Lighting is artificial. Equipment used includes standard office equipment i.E. Computer, telephone, fax machine and copier. Physical demands include sitting, walking, standing, bending over, kneeling, repetitive use of hands, grasping, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 25 lbs. Hours and days are Monday through Friday with occasional weekends or overtime required. Position requires close contact with Blue Mountain employees.
