Accounts Payable Specialist

-Manages, organizes, coordinates, and controls new bidding projects start up functions.
-Responsible for obtaining and posting plans, specifications and related documentation for the
bid process to the estimating website: SmartBidNet
-Upon award of Owner contract creates project in Accounting/Subcontractor database: View Point.
-Maintains Bid Calendar
-Provides general administrative assistance as required to estimators.
-Orders and organizes prints of bid documents for use by estimator.
-Ships Subcontracts and Purchase Orders via email.
-Submits Requests for Information to architects.
-Updates Subcontractor, Supplier and Client contact information across three noninterfaced databases.
-Responsible for advertising for bidding projects requiring participation by Disadvantaged Business Entities.
-Through personal example and leadership, maintains company reputation for outstanding client service and quality of bidding process.
-Supports and enforces all company safety policies and procedures.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
-General knowledge of commercial construction trades desired
-Knowledge of and experience using SmartBidNet, Viewpoint and Procore is a plus
-Minimum 2 years office experience,
-Strong reading, writing, organizational, and personal communication skills required
-Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced office environment Microsoft Office Suite experience (Word, Excel, Outlook)
