Job Location: Sacramento, California

Job Type: Temporary

Pay Rate: $29-$30/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am-5pm

Description of Position:
We are seeking an Account Clerk II (or Sr. Account Clerk) to support the Department of Personnel Services with invoice processing. This temporary assignment requires strong attention to detail and COMPASS (SAP) experience.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Receive, review, and verify invoices for payment
  • Log invoices into the system and ensure all entries are accurate
  • Verify appropriate coding and departmental approvals
  • Assist with resolving discrepancies or incomplete information
  • Utilize COMPASS (SAP) for payment processing and invoice management
  • Collaborate with internal departments as needed to ensure timely payment

Description of Company:
You will be supporting a government agency in a city in Sacramento County.

Experience Required:
  • Experience working as an Account Clerk II or Sr. Account Clerk
  • COMPASS (SAP) experience is required
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow established accounting procedures
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
