Novato - Permanent - $35.06-$36.06/hour
Monday - Thursday 8:45am - 4:45pm; Friday 8:45am - 4:30pm (37 hours a week)

Our client in Novato is looking to hire a replacement for their Bookkeeper. This position will be based in their office. This company serves the special education industry through books and relevant materials. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Accounts Receivable/Payables. 

For the right candidates this could become a permanent job position with company benefits included:
Benefits: Medical/Dental. Individual will have option of HMO or PPO plan with up to a $1500 premium.

Essential on the job responsibilities will include:
  • Bookkeeper will oversee deposits.
  • Will handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, GL reconciliations, journal entries, month end reports, trial balance reports, and payroll.
  • The position also requires understanding and preparation of payroll and sales tax quarterly reports, GL year end recaps, profit sharing and 401k year end spreadsheets for pension actuary. 
  • Will need to be versed in Microsoft Office, Access, QuickBooks, Microsoft Great Plains or a similar software equivalent.
