Wine Warehouse Administrative Supervisor
Job Location: Napa, CA
Job Type: Full-Time/Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $25-$30/hr.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or leadership role, preferably in the wine, beverage, or distribution industry.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team to meet performance objectives.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software.
- Previous experience with forklift operation and the ability to be certified onsite.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Leadership & Supervision – Manage and guide the warehouse team to ensure efficient, accurate order fulfillment, loading, and shipping.
- Inventory & Workflow Management – Oversee receiving, storage, replenishment, and stock rotation to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Operational Oversight – Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Staff Scheduling & Training – Plan shifts, assign tasks, and train team members on warehouse procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols.
- Process Improvement – Identify and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall warehouse operations.
- Cross-Functional Communication – Collaborate with customer service, other warehouse shifts, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Equipment & Safety Compliance – Ensure proper maintenance and safe usage of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Documentation & Reporting – Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and employee performance metrics.
- Accounts Receivable experience is preferred, but candidates with a strong clerical background will be considered and trained.
