Sales Order Processor 

Job Location: Novato, California

Pay Rate: $25-$26/hour

Job Type: Permanent

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am-4:45pm

Position Description: 
Our client, a well-established publisher in Novato, California, is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Order Processor to join their team. This position involves verifying and approving purchase orders from school districts and distributors, entering orders into Microsoft Great Plains software, managing accounts receivable, completing vendor and bid packets, processing returns, filing, answering phones, and providing online customer service as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Verify and approve purchase orders from school districts and distributors
  • Enter orders into Microsoft Great Plains software
  • Manage accounts receivable
  • Complete vendor and bid packets
  • Process returns and handle filing tasks
  • Answer phones and provide online customer service support as necessary

Experience Required:
  • Previous inventory experience is a plus
  • Accurate with alpha and numeric data entry (10 key by touch)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains software, QuickBooks, or other CRM
  • Highly organized with good attention to detail
