Program Manager 

Job Location: Marin City, California 

Pay Rate: $42.20 - $48.85/hour 

Job Type: Long-Term Temporary 

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm

Description of Position: 

Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? We are seeking a dedicated Program Manager to join our team at a housing authority. This long-term temporary position, initially spanning 3 to 4 months, offers the potential for extended engagement based on project needs. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the management and operation of a major low-income rental assistance and supportive housing services program, aimed at serving the homeless and low-income population of Marin County.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and direct daily program operations and oversee program staff.
• Ensure program compliance with HUD rules, federal regulations, and agency policies.
• Supervise, guide, and evaluate staff performance, conducting performance reviews.
• Make recommendations regarding hiring and disciplinary actions as necessary.
• Utilize YARDI software and leverage your housing expertise to enhance program efficiency.

Experience Required:

• Strong knowledge of management principles and practices required to lead housing program services effectively.
• Familiarity with federal housing laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations.
• Proficiency in personnel management, public services employee relations, and supervisory techniques.
• Skills in team building, goal setting, and staff management methods.
• Housing and leasing experience.
• YARDI expertise preferred.
