Winery Operations Assistant

Client is looking to hire motivated individual who are excited about a new arena of the wine industry. As part of a fast paced company you will be performing many tasks (some of which are outlined below). A successful candidate must be able to multi-task, work efficiently, communicate clearly, have a high degree of attention to detail and enjoy working with a small team, and be motivated to learn. Training is provided and no related experience is required. You will be based out of Napa production facility.

Key responsibilities:

Support production team under supervision of the Production Managers
Tank, kegging line and equipment sanitation
Kegging and canning line operations while adhering to SOP
Bulk wine management
Knowledge of production schedule to become self-directing
Wine receiving: unloading full tanks and offloading wines
Accurate documentation and record keeping
Forklift operation, maintenance and safety

Minimum Qualifications:

Cellar experience preferred
Extremely detailed oriented
Must be able to clearly speak and write in English and perform basic math
Able to stand for long periods of time, climb stairs and ladders, and be able to lift 60 lbs.
Required to wear a harness and PPE when necessary
High school diploma or GED required
Consistently strong work ethic
Team player

Pay rate is $14-17/hr. This position reports to our Production Manager. Some overtime hours are required based on workflow and scheduling.Client provides turn-key keg services to the world's leading wine brands. Their system enables our client wineries to serve their wines to wine lovers nationwide in the most sustainable, environmentally-friendly and freshest way possible: on tap. Their industry-leading cleaning, filling, marketing and logistics services bring fine wine from the barrel at the winery directly to the barrel under the bar.
Ability to lift up to 60lbs
