Shipping & Logistics Associate
The job duties for this role are, but not limited to:
-Performing manual and clerical duties related to the packaging, shipment, and receipt of wine/non-wine items.
-Maintaining all necessary files and documentation related to shipping.
-Perform research into issues with shipments and resolve all shipping problems that arise.
-Process customer wine orders, generate reports from system and maintain inventory.
-Manually pack merchandise into shipping containers and control quality.
-Perform customer service duties as required.
-Must have ability to read, analyze and interpret written instructions.
-Ability to present information effectively.
-Ability to respond to questions from customers and fellow employees.
-Must have excellent problem solving skills, math skills (ex/units of measure), and Microsoft office skills.
-Previous experience with common carrier software desired (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
-Must be able to work with flexible schedule which includes weekends.
-Dockers/khaki or other durable workpants that are clean and wrinkle free--jeans unacceptable.
-Collared or polo shirt that is clean and wrinkle free--sleeveless shirt and t-shirts unacceptable.
-No baggy, loose clothing.
-Closed-toed shoes, boots preferred.
-No visible tattoos or piercings.
Experience with common carrier software desired (FedEx, UPS)
Ability to work between warehouse and office setting
Lift up to 50 lbs
