Our client in Napa, a growing company in the wine business that procures grapes and bulk wine to supply national and private label brands, is seeking an Operations/Supply Chain Manager to join their team. This is a company that continually grows every year and their biggest customers are Bevmo, Safeway, Costco, Trader Joe's etc. The ideal candidate will thrive in an energetic and entrepreneurial team environment, have excellent attention to detail and a sense of urgency with dynamic and bottling line schedule tasks, and have the personality to make and stand by strong and firm decisions.

Essential functions of position are:

Supply Chain/Logistics (65%):
-Maintain bottling schedule and coordinate with 5 facilities throughout CA.
-Arrange deliveries and schedule trucking of bulk wine and case goods (glass, bottling trucking etc).
-Oversee case goods inventory, warehouse transfers, and perform monthly reconciliations.
-Oversee dry goods procurement, delivery, track and reconciliation.
-Manage all packaging specifications for each SKU and reflect on case goods bottling schedule.
-Order label proofs and final labels, verify legal compliance and scheduling,
-Data entry for bulk wine tracking and costing.
-Analyze and manage packaging costs towards cost reduction and simplification (but no pricing factors).
-Develop and implement programs to support production planning.

Legal Compliance (10%):
-Process all required forms for label approvals and registrations.
-Liaison with Compliance service provider and state licensing agencies.
-File COLA's and track progress; ensure all new wine labels are approved and that all licensing is correct.
-Manage database of storage, processing, grape purchase and bulk wine contracts.

Bulk Wine Program (25%):
-Winemaker's Database, data entry and monthly reconciliations of wine located in wineries throughout Valley.
-Harvest weigh tag processing, in house reporting and CDFA crush reporting.

-BS Degree in Business or any related field, with 5+ years experience in supply chain management.
-Budget, project management and supply chain experience.
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically advanced Excel.
-Experience with Winemakers Database, AMS and VinX a plus (winery software's).
-Team player and excellent customer service attitude, strong and firm personality on decision making.
-Entrepreneurial mindset in a dynamic and engaging team environment.
-Strong analytical skills
