Our client, a local CPA firm is looking for a hybrid position between that of an administrative professional and one with a technical accounting background. This position will report directly to a Partner within the Firm. An ideal candidate will have prior experience in an administrative role within a CPA firm, or a bookkeeping background.

-Administration of new clients including the gathering of initial documentation and organizational information
-Bridging communications between client, partner, and tax managers
-Partner credit card expense reports
-Preparation of client invoices

Communicating with client regarding the following technical issues
-Tax Authority Notices
-Completion of California registration, cancellation forms and Statements of Information
-Registration of U.S. EIN numbers online using form SS-4
-Downloading of client bank statements from online banking accounts
-Monthly bookkeeping for high net worth individuals
-Preparation of individual tax returns and administration of tax documents and open item queries
-Maintenance of projects on tax management software

-Knowledge of private banking customer service
-Prosystem Tax, Microsoft Suite including advanced level of Excel, Quickbooks, Quicken
-Mature disposition, experience with high net worth individuals and partner level communications
-Ability to multi task while fluidly working in an administrative and technical capacity
-Proficiency in business and tax authority correspondence
-Ability to meet deadlines

Will work closely with the professional that is currently holding this position
